KiDsGyM USA TO HOST 21ST ANNUAL OLYMPIC DAY CELEBRATION

Atlanta Preschoolers Showcase Commitment to Improved Health and Fitness, Competitive Sportsmanship, and Possibly Becoming America’s Next Gold Medal Olympiads

ATLANTA- With the 2008 Olympic Games over, you may be wondering, “Where is the next Nastia Liukin, Shawn Johnson or Jonathan Horton?” At KiDsGyM USA Olympic Day Celebration, you might find them tiptoeing across the balance beam, swinging on the bars or tumbling across the floor at this annual community event.

KiDsGyM USA, a non profit organization that develops gymnastic and motor development skills in children and youth, is hosting its 21st Annual Olympic Day Celebration at the Conley Recreation Center on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This annual event embodies the courage and determination of very young, local participants who have “trained” all year and are ready to present what they have learned in a friendly competition, where everyone wins.

KiDsGyM USA’s Olympic Day Celebration encourages even the youngest participants (12 months old) to continue on the pathway to better health through physical fitness and sports participation. More than 100 participants ages 12 months to 15 years old are expected throughout the day. Families, friends, and community residents throughout Atlanta are expected to attend, support, and cheer on the next generation of Atlantan Olympiads.

The KiDsGyM USA Annual Olympic Day Celebration is free and open to the public. For more information on KiDsGyM USA or to learn more about this event, please visit www.kidsgymusa.org .
